Crossfit is a functional training program which emphasizes using your own body as your most valuable piece of equipment. Crossfit appeals to amateur fitness enthusiasts, teens, and busy corporate executives as well as soccer moms and athletes.

Because the Crossfit program delivers a fitness that is scalable, and can be adapted and modified to suit ANY FITNESS LEVEL - no matter where you start.It involves being "fit" in a way that means much more than being able to run a mile, or bench press an impressive number. It's more than doing endless minutes on the elliptical or going through a machine-based circuit on standard "gym equipment." There are ropes and tires, rings and bands, and of course balls and barbells. But that's only to supplement the most powerful fitness tool you can have: YOUR BODY.

Our Crossfit program is a program with many components: metabolic conditioning, olympic lifting, strength training, functional exercises, interval training, and even some gymnastics skills, kettlebells, and nutrition education. And you get it all in an environment that is simple, with YOU being the most important piece of equipment in the place.

 

You'll do what we call a "MOD": the SWAT Mission of the Day. Sometimes it will be a series of exercises for time, allowing you to set and break personal records over time. Other times it will be a timed exercise, and you'll challenge yourself by seeing how far along in the workout you can get in the allotted amount of time. Either way, it's great if you like a challenge, value seeing improvement in your 'scores' and want results from a varied program that is guided by a trainer and won't ever be boring. back to top

Kettlebells are unique in their ability to provide intense metabolic and cardiovascular conditioning, while building strength at the same time. Using the dynamic movement of swinging, or moving, the kettlebell, your core will become stronger, you will improve shape and strength of the muscles in both your upper and lower body, and your heart rate will rise, giving you a great cardio and strength workout, without spending hours in a gym or touching a single machine.

Our Kombat Kettlebell ® program is designed to challenge you, teach you new skills, and keep the energy high, making this not only a very EFFECTIVE way to lose fat, but a FUN way to burn tons of calories. It may seem a little strange at first, but once you master the basic kettlebell moves, the possibilities are endless, and you are unlikely to become bored. Learning to move the kettlebell properly, through swings, presses, and even cleans and getups will make you strong and fit, improve your core strength and conditioning, and blast the fat from your midsection.

Yep, there's definitely a learning curve, but once you get it - you'll never go back to traditional training again.

BOOT CAMP FITNESS fitness boot camp tucson arizona boot camp fitness weight loss program

Our SWAT –Boot Camp program is a challenging but fun group training program, using lots of variety in equipment and exercises. You get a FUN group class that will include a little bit of everything: cardio, dumbbells, weighted balls, calisthenics, and more, and is appropriate for beginners and those who need a 'jump start' in their fitness program.

If it's been a while since you've worked out, and you don't feel ready for the other programs just yet, this program is for you. And if you're already fit and strong - this class will still challenge you and provide you with a great workout in a fun environment with others who will encourage you and push you to go to the next level. Boot Camp meets 5 days a week, and this program has been so popular, in fact, we have 3 times to choose from: 5 am, 9 am and 6 pm.

KETTLEBELLAS - KETTLEBELLS FOR WOMEN

It's a kettlebell program for women that we designed to take the focus off of weight loss (although you will lose tons of fat along the way) and provide a class where women of all sizes, ages and fitness levels can learn how to use kettlebells to tone the arms, shape the butt and thighs, and trim the fat off the midsection - you know, the "muffin top."

This women's only class will teach you what to eat in addition to how to work out, and give you a fun, fast-paced workout that you take at your own pace, although we'll definitely push you more than you might push yourself. It's an encouraging and exciting program, where you'll share experiences and successes with others like you - without making you feel like you have to lose weight BEFORE you join a gym or start this program.

 

The program starts with an intensive 4-week Introductory Program, where you'll do 3 workouts a week, do cardio on your off days, and be accountable to your trainer for your training and nutrition program. Tons of accountability and success (may women lose more than 10 pounds in the initial 6 weeks) and then after the 4 weeks, you can decide if you love it and want to continue, or want to try Boot Camp or even Crossfit or Kettlebells after that!
